drawn with graphite, charcoal, and a 2b mechanical pencil

i've started blocking in some of the main dark areas, with charcoal under graphite - i did this with my Jord picture as well. Finished Bella's face, i'm now a bit happier with the pencil-work... but it's always going to look too rough to me, but that's mainly because the original picture is just so smooth! at the same time i'm liking the almost-vector-like layers of shading [almost, but nowhere near, if you know what i mean ]. i've started on edward's face, and very slightly on bella's hair. since i took this picture {almost a week ago} i've done a little [but not a lot] work on it
